48. Pukkelpop 2009

End of August = Pukkelpop-time. Pukkelpop is a 3-days festival in Hasselt ( check their website, pukkelpop.be ). There are 8 podiums & a heckload of artists. Though we didn’t see muchos artists, it was fun ! I went with Attie & Lara. First of all, we had to take a train at 8′ o in the morning  (fucking way too early). So I was already tired & the day didn’t start yet. So then we were at the festival, then we had to wait for like 1.30h to get our “bracelet” to get inside. Then we had to put up our tents ( yay for being +- at the same spot as last year ) and then we decided to eat something ( attie’s delicious pasta-salad ;D ). Then we moved on to the festival itself. First we’ve been to all of the sponsors things, where you can get free gadgets, then we went to see Bon iver ( he was amazing, Check out his song Skinny love ) ; Dizzie rascal ( Bonkers! check out the videos I made [ 1 2 ] ), Wilco ( was not really my favorite kind of music ). So and then there was a suprise act, the fact that it was raining & that there was a thunderstorm did maybe make people want to see it, but sure it was exciting! THEM CROOKED VULTURES ; I mean, they “just” started their project & wow. They were cool. Dave Ghrol was fucking amazingly cool. Then we decided to eat something ( I was tired too ), we ate some aikie noodles xD. Then it was Beirut, and sure they were awesome too ! ( checkt out nantes, you should know that song ) . Then we decided to go to sleep, since we were all tired ofgetting up soon and there wasn’t really something we wanted to see. I slept with lara in a tent that night ( we had 2 tents for 3 and every night someone slept alone ) . And we did laugh a lot. haha. But we fell asleep at a decent hour. The second day,  we went to Hasselt, to get some food at the spar. ( Cornflakes, tomatoes, … <3 ) ; then we discovered our sandwiches did go bad D: . Anyway , it sure was hot weather so we were kind of lazy.we’ve seen air traffic ( video ) ; and then we went back to the camping, chilling. then we went back for placebo in the evening, we arrived when Snow patrol were still singing ( they were okay, but loud & the screen-filming-thing sucked :/ ) . Then fucking placebo. they were <3. Reallly! I made videos too ( too lazy to link ) . Omg, the show was awesome <3. really. & after Placebo there was kraftwerk ( who were fucking cool too ) . At night I was the one sleeping alone ( it was freezing, cell phone died, … shitnight :’D ) . Anyway, I was glad it was morning again. Third I didn’t see any shows ( except for 50cent’s ayo technology ) . I felt ill & tired. So went sleeping early. and then it was time to go home the next day. Those 3 days went forwast at a max speed. Really! but anyway, it was awesome. Thank you lara & attie for the fun ! <3
